Why Tutoring?

Teachers have a lot on their plates and aren’t always able to give students individual attention, so it’s important to make sure students don’t fall behind in math. Don’t worry about trying to make sense of it all… leave the “new math” to me!

Who Am I?

I’m a senior with 5+ years of experience tutoring math. Some things I enjoy outside of school are reading, and writing for my blog. I’ve also hosted a 40-episode podcast about business and personal finance called Money Moves for Teens. I think math is an important subject because it can be applied to other areas of life like personal finance, art, and design.

What customers are saying

It was awesome for [my daughter] to have someone her age who had already been through the course work to help guide her. You have a natural teaching and nurturing personality!

Talia tutored my son in fourth grade math, and she helped him bring up his grades as well as pass the SOL. Talia was very professional and prepared for each session.

She is awesome!
